    William Henry Frels was born on Ja. 11, 1874, in Frelsburg, Tx. <80>  He was the son of Claus Diedrich Bernard {Frels} and Wilhemine Schoellmann Frels.  He married Annie Wilhemine Weigel on No. 14, 1894. <53>  Annie Wilhemine {Weigel} was born on Oc. 22, 1872, to Conrad {Weigel} and Margretha Frances Wink Weigel in Mentz, Tx . <74, 79>  Annie attended St. Rock's Catholic School in Mentz.  In his early years, William worked as a farmer.  He moved to Gillett, Karnes Co., Tx., where his occupation was cotton ginning.  He was a ginner for 31 years.  During their married life, William and Annie lived in Egypt, Glen Flora, Edna, Gillett, Nada, and Port Lavaca.  William Henry {Frels} and Annie Weigel Frels had six children.  At the time of his death, he owned two cotton gins in Port Lavaca, Tx.  He died of heart failure due to pneumonia on Mr. 6, 1937. <26, 31, 42, 79>  Annie died on June 13, 1953, in El Campo, Texas. <26, 31, 44, 60, 77>
